Aldi Ireland warns customers over online vouchers scam

The Aldi Ireland supermarket chain has issued a warning to its customers over hoax vouchers for its stores which are being offered online.

In a message posted on its Facebook page this afternoon (Wednesday), Aldi stated: "It has been brought to our attention that there is a hoax voucher circulating online promising individuals a €125 Aldi voucher if they participate in an online survey.

"If you receive a message with a link to the survey please do not click the link or insert any personal information.

"This offer is fraudulent and cannot be redeemed in our stores," the company said.

Aldi Ireland's statement added that it was currently investigating the matter.

It asked people who have further queries to contact its customer service team.
