Athlone's Jay Boland a hit on The Voice

Young Athlone singer Jay Boland was one of the stars of the first episode of the new series of RTE show The Voice last night.

Singing All I Want by Kodaline, Boland manages to get all four judges to turn. Jamelia turns straight away, followed by Bressie, Dolores and Kian.

After hearing the compliments from the judges, Boland plumps for Kian as his coach for the series.
