The people at the dog rescue were also responsible for finding a beautiful small black dog missing from Toorvalley. The link provided by the dog rescue centre is proving to be very valuable for dog owners locally, with an identification collar a great help in rescuing an animal. Please remember to put a collar on your pet as early as possible. This link does also create expenses, telephone, transport and veterinary to mention but a few so if you can offer any support please think of the Moate Rescue Centre. If you care for dogs why not look them up on Facebook and have a look at some of the success stories while you are there. The Patron membership scheme was a great success last year and we would like to thank all of our supporters who joined up and generously supported us during the year. The money raised from the Patron membership scheme goes a long way towards financing the club and is a very important fundraiser. Patron members have exclusive access to International and Provincial match tickets during the season as well as entry into raffles for match tickets and a cash prize. Our latest winners were John and Jean Gaffey who won tickets to the Ireland v France match and Michael Curran who headed off with two tickets to last weekends Ireland v England match. As a club we are always on the lookout for people who might be interested in helping out in some way. If you are interested please contact Katharine Ross at 087 1319252.
