Competition: Win tickets to the Helium Festival

The Helium Fundraiser Micro Music Festival, in aid of Ataxia Ireland, takes place on Saturday June 8th 2012 in Ballymahon, Co Longford and we are offering you the chance to win a pair of tickets.

The volunteer group behind Helium is also delighted to announce that the re-developed Helium Festival App for iPhone for 2013 is due to go live on the Apple iStore in the coming days and will include all of the details on Helium 2013 – from the line-up and stage times to the campsite and right through to the good cause.

A key feature of Helium every year is the large number of local acts that get a chance to play on one of the three festival stages. Irish musical talent performing this year include The Stunning; Mick Flannery, Fight Like Apes, Wallis Bird, Hermitage Green, KILA, O Emperor, Kopek, David Kitt and Mark Geary.

All proceeds from Helium go towards Ataxia Ireland (formerly F.A.S.I.) for whom the festival has raised over €40,000 over the last four years. Punters are advised to scoop up their tickets quickly this year from the official media and ticketing partner Entertainment.ie or in person from the home of Helium Skelly’s Bar & Restaurant in Ballymahon; The Country Shop, Main St, Ballymahon; The Sound Factory, Athlone; Denniston’s Longford; Rochfort’s Music, Mullingar & Charlie Byrne’s Bookshop in Galway. Remember Helium is an over 18s event only and ID must be provided at the point of purchase.
