Derek Daly 5km Memorial Run takes place New Year's Day

The third annual Derek Daly 5Km Memorial Run will take place again on New Years Day, January 1st. The race starts at the clubhouse in Garrycastle at 12 noon, with registration beginning from 10.45am.

The race is open to all, young and old, men & women, fit and not-so-fit, and is the perfect way to start to burn off the effects of the turkey and ham etc!
You can run, walk, crawl, or maybe even swim, if the weather is a bit on the damp side!
The cost of entry is €10 for an individual or €20 per family.
There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for both men and women, and a special team event, with a prize for the first team to finish together!
Refreshments served in the clubhouse afterwards.
