LATEST: Two rescued from lake are in critical condition

The two men rescued from Lough Ree tonight are reported to be in a critical condition in hospital.

The men were found in the water by personnel from the RNLI lifeboat after reportedly going fishing in a small boat on the lake.

A third man is now missing and a search of that part of Lough Ree has been scaled down tonight and will resume early tomorrow morning.
