Special general meeting of credit union tonight

An internal committee of Athlone Credit Union has resigned having voiced its concerns over governance issues at the financial institution.
The board oversight committee (BOC) resigned last month, prompting the credit union to host a special general meeting tonight (Wednesday) to elect a new board oversight committee.
Athlone Credit Union is understood to be disputing the previous board oversight committee's claims.
