Sinead Keane from the Peter Mark hair salon in Athlone was one of the winners in the Peter Mark Colour Trophy.

Sinead was chosen as the overall young colourist of the year and was one of just three national winners – the others were from Dublin and Kilkenny.

The event took place at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel, where more than 700 people gathered.

The competition was judged by Frederic Pavard (Alexandre de Paris), Gareth Williams (Headmasters), Ian Brady (Cats), Patricia Strachan ( L’Oreal) Holly O’Keefe (Peter Mark) and celebrity Peter Mark hairdresser/ head judge Michael Doyle.
