Anita's Table Quiz for South Africa volunteering stint

 

Mount Temple's Anita Allen is facing the biggest challenge of her life this summer as she heads off to South Africa to work for seven weeks as a volunteer in a Centre for children and families affected by the HIV/AIDS virus.

The Centre, in the Limpopo province of South Africa, is run by the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, and as part of her volunteering mission, Anita has been requested to undertake fundraising for her trip and also to fund the many programmes which are run by the nuns and the volunteers for the underprivileged families and children who seek help at the Holy Family Care Centre.

Anita will host the first of two fundraising events tomorrow night (Friday, May 12) in The Bounty Bar and Restaurant in Coosan where a Table Quiz And Raffle will take place, with quizmasters Seamus and Tommy Greene on hand to ask all the tough questions. A great night is assured for all.
