Westmeath Rose Leanne Quinn successfully squats Daithí Ó Sé

Westmeath Rose, Leanne Quinn from Coralstown was interviewed by host Daithí Ó Sé during the first night's coverage of the International Rose of Tralee Festival. 

Twenty-five year old Leanne spoke to Daithí about her studies and how after studying Psychology at University of Limerick she decided it wasn't for her.

She returned to education this year to study a Masters in BSc Sports Performance after taking an interest in health and fitness. 

Leanne is a qualified fitness instructor and personal trainer. She proved very popular among viewers last night when the young power lifter squatted Daithí Ó Sé live on stage.

Leanne managed to keep Daithí calm while she explained how she would squat him safely. Of course, three escorts flanked Leanne and Daithí on all sides so as to prevent any injuries. 

The Coralstown native impressed all in the Dome by benching Daithí playfully exclaiming herself afterwards "I'm fine. I'm a tank!"

Leanne's pleading with viewers to not turn her squatting performance into a meme were not obeyed with memes already circulating across Twitter.
