Dolan and Corroon to start for Westmeath in midland derby

By Kieran Galvin There are two changes on the Westmeath team for this Sunday's Allianz FL Division 2 clash with neighbours Longford at Pearse Park. Dessie Dolan - having been introduced as a substitute in last Sunday's narrow win over Louth - has been named in the starting XV at full-forward. Dolan was not listed to start against the Wee County due to a hamstring injury. With Doron Harte suspended due to his red card against Louth, his Garrycastle club-mate James Dolan has been moved from attack to left half-back. Elsewhere, Denis Corroon has been selected at midfield in place of Athlone's Paul Bannon. The full-back line and the half-forward line are both unchanged from last Sunday. Fresh from his splendid display against Louth, Maryland's Callum McCormack will lead the attack from centre-forward. Longford were edged out by Wexford last Sunday, after the Slaneysiders pounced for a crucial goal in the closing stages. Sunday's game at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park, Longford, will throw-in at 2pm.
