Ros' ladies prepare for league final as Brigid's U14s face Feile final

 

Both the St Brigid's U14 team and the Roscommon ladies are preparing for important fixtures this week.

St Brigid's take on Oran in the Roscommon Feile final in Ballyforan tomorrow evening (Thursday) at 7pm. Oran defeated Clann na nGael in their semi-final last weekend, thereby preventing a local derby final between Clann and Brigid's.

The winners in the Ballyforan clash will represent Roscommon in the national Feile festival of football this summer.

Meanwhile, the Roscommon ladies football team take on Offaly in the Tesco HomeGrown NFL Division 4 final at the Gaelic Grounds, Limerick, on Saturday (5pm).

Roscommon comprehensively defeated Limerick in the semi-finals (3-15 to 2-6), while Offaly overcame Antrim in their last four clash on a scoreline of 3-8 to 0-10.

The clash between the Rossies and Offaly ladies is the curtain-raiser to the All-Ireland U21 FC final between Galway and Cork (7pm).

Elsewhere, the Roscommon minor ladies face Sligo in the Connacht Minor 'B' Championship final at Fr O'Hara Park, Charlestown on Sunday at 5pm.
