HAVING first opened the doors of its magnificent International Arena in January of last year, Athlone Institute of Technology will stage a whole host of fantastic athletics events in the near future.

To date the arena has hosted the AAI Combined Event Championships, the AAI Open Indoor Games, National Indoor Finals, Masters, U23 Championships, Connacht & Leinster Indoor Championships, as well as several club and athlete training days. The following is a list of the events, including the AAI Senior Indoor Championships in February, that local sports fans can look forward to in the Arena over the coming weeks and months.
