Leinster Schools Senior Football: fixtures update ...

There are some changes to the Leinster Schools SF 'A' fixtures for this weekend.

The Marist College v Castleknock CC game has been confirmed for the St Brigid's GAA grounds in Kiltoom on Saturday with an earlier throw-in time of 1pm.

Elsewhere, Athlone Community College's clash with Wicklow Schools has been moved from Baltinglass to the Bray Emmets astro-turf pitch (Saturday, 2pm).

Meanwhile, the venue for the meeting of Moate CS and St Pat's, Navan had yet to be confirmed at the time of writing. It's listed for a Navan venue at 2pm on Saturday. However, there have been some suggestions that the game could be put back until early next week.

The latest information is that the game is listed for Pairc Tailteann, with a pitch inspection at Meath GAA headquarters this afternoon (Friday).

Two other Westmeath schools had contrasting fortunes in their games this week. St Joseph's, Rochfortbridge claimed an emphatic win over Ardscoil na Trionoide Athy - but Colaiste Mhuire Mullingar bowed out with an extra-time defeat to St Peter's Wexford.
