Ballymore Youth Club

The youth club had a great day at Lilliput Adventure Centre last Saturday - while the weather was against them, they all made the most of the day. 29 Junior members and 10 Senior members travelled to Lilliput and enjoyed canoeing, bog hopping, aerial slide, orienteering, to name but a few of the activities. Frankie and Trish from Lilliput looked after us very well for the day. It truly was a day to remember. Karate Certificate Presentation Next Thursday is break-up day of the Youth Club for the summer. It is also the last day of the Karate classes If you attended any of the Karate classes you should come to the youth club this week as presentation of Certificates will be taking place. Ballymore Community Game Gold in Gymnastics Congratulations to Jor-El McLoughlin on winning gold in the Westmeath Gymnastics County Final Boys under 10 section.  Jor-El now goes forward to the National Community Games Final in Athlone in August.  Athletics Track and Field Best wishes to all athletes as they compete in the Westmeath County Final which takes place next Sunday 14 June and Monday 15 June in the Mullingar Harriers grounds. With the GAA Park in Ballymore unavailable for the last few weeks for the children they have been travelling to Mullingar to train, which has gone extremely well. Drumraney Camogie Club Congrats to Drumraney under 10 Camogie team on winning the Camogie Final last Saturday in Cusack Park. Ballymore were represented on the team by Katie Hough, Caitlin Dunne, Olivia Cuffe, Chloe Butler and Rachel Butler. They played a brilliant game and were triumphant over Ringstown. Keep up the good work girls! Millmore Gaels Training as normal for all under 8 and under 10 players on Friday evening, 29th May in the Park at 7pm Fr Dalton"s Under 8 and under 12 training as normal in the park at 10.30pm all welcome. Ballymore GAA Next match: Away in a Junior Division 2 match V Tubberclaire on Friday 12th June at 8pm Lotto Ballymore GAA and Fr Dalton"s lotto draw takes place in Joe Martins at 9pm tonight Wednesday 10th June. Tickets available from players, supporters and executive members. 200 Club The latest draw took place in 'Joe Martins' Lounge last Sunday evening. Winners were €1,000 Martina Slevin, €200 Adah Cuffe, €100 winners were Moate GAA, Seamus McDermott, Bo Allen and Mick Burns. Congratulations to all the winners and the next draw takes place in Rooney"s on Sunday 12th July. Ballymore GAA The main hall provides a perfect venue for circuit training on evenings when the floodlit park is not available. Summer Camps A parents dream is the summer camp that takes place every year. This year will be on exception and details will be published of the dates and criteria in due course.
