The Piano Bar opens in Athlone

The Piano Bar at 9 Dublingate Street, Athlone (formerly Conlon's) is the latest addition to nightlife in Athlone. Opened just last Friday night this venue caters exclusively for over 30s, a market much neglected previously in the town. From once you step inside the doors the candlelit atmosphere together with interior decorating that exudes class sets the tone for crisp and lively numbers from the Baby Grand Piano with resident piano man John Rabbitte. All options are available whether you choose to sit and listen, sing along, or take to the dance floor whilst the piano man plays a variety of jazz, blues,and all your favourites. A full bar is available with special offers on the wine and cocktail menu. Doors open at 1030pm till late, this Friday and every Friday. Neat dress is essential.
