Luan Gallery in the running for top award

Athlone’s Luan Gallery is in the running for a top architectural award.
The project has been short-listed in the Best Cultural Building category by the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI). There were over 120 entries this year spread over 14 different categories, including housing, conservation, sustainability, accessibility, retail, leisure, public choice and culture.
The Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland is the regulatory and support body for architects and architectural technologists in Ireland. The RIAI promotes the activities and achievements of the Irish architectural profession - both in Ireland and abroad - through a wide variety of initiatives including the prestigious Irish Architecture Awards and through publications.
