Tang's Aisling Gets Ready for Tonight's Rose Appearance

TANG’S Aisling Farrell is among 18 Roses set to take to the stage in tonight’s televised staging of this year’s Rose of Tralee Selection.

The other local Rose, Athlone’s Lisa O’Halloran, who represents the city of Liverpool, will be on-stage on Tuesday night. Both night’s events will be screened live on RTE.

The Kerry Rose, Gemma Kavanagh, has stolen the top spot with the bookmakers ahead of this year’s Selection and is now the 5/2 favourite to win. Haley O’Sullivan, who is the Texas Rose, is hot on her heels at 11/4.

The Sydney Rose, Fiona O’Sullivan, has seen her price shorten from 14/1 to 6/1 after a surge of support. The biggest change in the market comes from the London Rose, Grace Kenny, who has gone from 33/1 into 12/1 in the last few days.
