Word from the number-crunchers regarding the Athlone Local Electoral Area (LEA) is that Kevin 'Boxer' Moran (Ind.) will be elected on the first count; followed by Paul Hogan (SF), 5th count; Tom Farrell (FG), Aengus O'Rourke (FF) and Frankie Keena (FF) on the 6th; John Dolan (FG) on the 7th; and Ballymore's Vinny McCormack (FF) on the 8th.
