Garda appeal over stolen car

Gardai have launched an appeal for information after a car stolen in Dublin was found in Moate.

The 08-registered silver Mercedes was parked up in the Collin Bui estate in the town when it was reported to gardai. On further investigation, officers discovered it was stolen in the capital.
The vehicle is due be technically examined before being reunited with its owner.
It was discovered in Moate on Saturday morning. Anyone who saw the car in the estate or travelling on roads around Moate last week is asked to call Athlone Gardai 09064 98550.
