New single and video from The Blizzards this Friday

The Blizzards new single and video, One Good Thing, drops this Friday October 2!

Directed by the award winning Terry McMahon, and expertly shot by Richard Finlay, the video to accompany the new single was shot on location on the lakes surrounding Mullingar, and marks the band’s second release of 2020.

To celebrate the launch of the single the band will be streaming a live gig outside Tullynally Castle this Saturday, October 3.

The gothic style castle will be spectacularly lit to form the perfect backdrop for the gig, which will be streamed live with the aid of 10 cameras and two drones, manned by an entirely Westmeath crew, namely @jacks_power, @mikesound1212, and shot by @markbennett.tv.

There will also be an option to donate to LARCC Cancer Support Centre in Multyfarnham.

Meanwhile, One Good Thing goes live this Friday.

Of the song itself, The Blizzards say:

“In the midst of the isolation and fog that has rolled in across our world and changed our lives so dramatically, something small that helps us to see our way through to better times, is contemplating that ‘one good thing’ that brings us a moment of light, connectedness and inspiration.

“It could be the little cake your local cafe gives you every day with your coffee, or the mad bonkers excitement that your dog greets you with after being away for seven minutes.

“It doesn’t matter how big or small, it’s just that one good thing that makes your day a little better. Hold on to that til we make it through.”

The countdown starts now! More to follow this Friday!
