Motorists should expect delays on the Athlone to Ballymahon Road N55 today and Tuesday with a Stop and Go system in place.

In a message on social media, Westmeath County Council confirmed they will be operating a "Stop and Go system on the N55 at Tubberclair, Glasson and Ballykeeran, today Monday 12 October and Tuesday 13 October from 9am to 4:30pm approximately to facilitate road maintenance works."
