Athlone Community Radio hosting Christmas Variety Show

To celebrate ten years on air, Athlone Community Radio is inviting the public to take part in its annual Christmas Variety Show, which is being held on Saturday December 12 at 7pm

Whether you sing, tell jokes, dance or have a knack for magic tricks, the station is looking for any and all talents for the show, which takes place virtually.

Those looking to take part can secure their spot and get more information by emailing info@athloncommunityradio.ie, and can receive tips and tricks on how to make the videos look and sound their best.

The station is hoping that the variety show will give a cheerful boost to the community, and will help the GoFundMe page set up to help raise €10,000 for ten years on air, which will help fund rent and electricity costs for 2021.
