BREAKING: Overall group winners at BT Young Scientist for Moate group

The award for overall Group winners at the 2021 BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition has been awarded to three Transition Year students at Moate Community School.

Abby Mullins, Chloe Murphy and Megan Carroll won the award for their project 'Wool - Savior of Our Sea', which looked at a way of developing a wool blanket which allows for the timely and thorough removal of oil slicks following oil spills.

Their project was entered in the Intermediate group of the Biological and Ecological category.
