Yellow rainfall warning for Westmeath and Roscommon

Met Éireann has issued a status yellow rainfall warning for large parts of the country, including Westmeath and Roscommon, for Monday night and throughout Tuesday.

The warning is for heavy rainfall which could lead to accumulations of 30 to 50mm, with higher levels in mountainous areas. This will bring a risk of some river and localised flooding.

The rainfall warning is for Connacht, Longford, Louth, Westmeath, Meath, Cavan and Monaghan.

It is valid from 9pm Monday to 9pm Tuesday.
