Woodlands, Tipper Road, Naas, Kildare, formerly of Athlone.

Peacefully at home surrounded by loving family. Sadly missed by his loving wife Mavis, sons Andrew and James, daughters-in-law Jen and Barbara, sisters Mary, Olive, Evelyn and Fiona, brother Tony, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Thomas (Tom) Loddick

Clonthread, Moate, Co Westmeath.

Unexpectedly but peacefully on 20 January 2021, at the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Margaret, brothers Jimmy and Mike. Sadly missed by his loving brother John (Mullingar), sisters in law Brigid and Mary, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

In keeping with current government guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private funeral will take place for Tom on Saturday at 12.30pm in The Carmelite Church, Moate with burial afterwards in Donegan Cemetery, Mount Temple.

Patrick 'Paddy' Groden

Liscune, Ballymacward, Ballinasloe, Galway.

Peacefully, in Ballinderry Nursing Home, Kilconnell. Predeceased by his brother Paul and sister Mary. Deeply mourned by his family in the UK, his loving sister Rosie and brother Val, nephews Simon, Gerry and Michael and his niece Mary, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

A private funeral will take place due to government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings. A Remembrance Mass will be held for Paddy at a later date.

Eva O'Mahony (née Foley)

Ballinasloe, Galway / Barroe, Sligo.

Eva passed away suddenly but peacefully in her 88th year, in the kind and loving care of the staff of Millrace Nursing Home, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. Dearly beloved wife of the late Teddy (Edward) O’Mahony. Predeceased also by her mother Margaret and her father Bartholomew Foley, her sister Mary McKeon and brother Edward Foley. Much loved sister of Kieran Foley, Teresa Struck, Nancy Lillis and Patsy Cotter. Eva will be very sadly missed and deeply mourned by her siblings, brothers-in-law Jim O’Mahony and Jake Struck, sister-in-law Marion Foley, her many loving nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews from the McKeon, Foley, Lillis, Cotter and Sweeney families and by all her extended family and many friends.

A private family funeral will take place in accordance with current Government and HSE guidelines however those who would have liked to attend the funeral and cannot do so may leave a personal message in the condolence section on rip.ie. This will be greatly appreciated by the family and they thank you for your support and sympathy at this time.

Michael Finneran

Killeglan, Taughmaconnell, Roscommon

The death has occurred of Michael Finneran in South Yardley, Birmingham, England and formerly of Killegan, Taughmaconnell, Co Roscommon.

Andrew Hanley

Hawthorn Drive, Roscommon Town, Roscommon

Suddenly on 20 January 2021. Beloved son of the late Andrew and Sarah and brother of the late Michael and Padraic. He will be very sadly missed by his sister Sr. Sarah Marie (Houston, Texas), sister-in-law Marcella (Castlestrange, Fuerty), godson Micheál, nieces Kate, Trish and Sarah, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.

In accordance with government guidelines, Andrew’s funeral will be private. The funeral cortège will depart from Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Saturday morning at 10.40am arriving at Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for private Mass of the Resurrection at 11am followed by burial afterwards in Athleague Cemetery.
