Six month ban and fine for Gordon Elliott
The IHRB hearing today relating to Gordon Elliott issued a 12-month suspension arising out of a well-publicised incident last weekend.
His trainer's licence will be suspended for 12 months with the last six months of the suspension suspended.
He will also have to pay costs of €15,000.
Gordon indicated that he would not attend a race meeting or a point to point for six months.
The commencement of the ban is Tuesday 9th March.
