Award win for local school

A local school has been applauded for developing a new nature trail.

Students from the Leaving Cert Applied class at Coláiste Chiaráin in Summerhill received a Cathaoirleach's Award recently from Cllr Laurence Fallon.

The LCVA group won the 'Most Creative Rock Art Trail' in the Local Heroes Rock Art Project - Cathaoirleach’s Awards Competition 2021.

The award was presented on Wednesday last, by Cathaoirleach Cllr Laurance Fallon and Roscommon Arts Officer, Rhona Mc Grath.

Congratulations to the students involved and their teacher Ms Sinead Geraghty.
