Moate coffee shop gets major thumbs up from RTE star

A Moate coffee shop has got a glowing review from RTE star Ryan Tubridy!

In a video posted on 'The Ryan Tubridy Show' Facebook page on Tuesday, the popular presenter gave a major thumbs up to the menu at Tuar Ard Coffee Shop in the centre of the town.

Standing at the 'The Bargain' statues in front of Moate Community Centre, Tubs told his fans that he was on the way to Galway for a live broadcast of 'The Ryan Tubridy Show' on Wednesday and as they often do, they stopped off at the Moate cafe and restaurant.

Pointing to Tuar Ard Coffee Shop, he said: “This place has the best menu for a palate like mine and you can have whatever you want including jelly and icecream for dessert”.

Ending the short video, he quipped as the camera moved to show the minature train feature on the lawn: “Meanwhile, I've to get on my train because I'm out of here!”

Tuar Ard Coffee Shop later posted a picture on their Facebook page of the smiling RTE star, thanking him for calling to see them in Moate.
