Chamber presidents John Geoghegan and Alan Shaw will be joined on the panel by Shane Keating, chief data officer at Ardonagh Global Data and Risk Management Centre, and Fiona Murphy, tax partner at RBK Accountants.

Mr Geoghegan, president of Mullingar Chamber, said: “This webinar is an excellent format in a casual discussion setting, which should facilitate a fluid conversation and cover a wide range of topics given the challenges that lie ahead for Ireland on many fronts.

“In particular, we would like to thank Shane Keating and Ardonagh Group for sponsoring the event. We are also delighted to have Business Post business editor, Lorcan Allen facilitating the webinar and we are grateful to him for joining us.”

Mr Geoghegan’s counterpart at Athlone Chamber, Mr Shaw, added: “This webinar provides an opportunity to discuss a number of key business tax changes with Minister Donohoe and inform our members of the likely impact.

“With the current focus on corporate tax rates, Fiona Murphy from Russell Brennan Keane will help us understand the effect the uncertainty is having on foreign direct investment as well as the SME sector.

“We wish to thank Minister Donohoe for accepting our invitation. We also thank Fiona Murphy for joining the panel discussion and finally we thank Minister Peter Burke TD for assisting with the planning of this event.”
