Westmeath applicants sought for Jameson International Graduate Programme

Irish Distillers is currently looking for ambitious graduates to join the 2022/23 Jameson International Graduate Programme.

Westmeath graduates are being advised to apply in the hope of the following in the footsteps of Eoin Weir from Mullingar.

Eoin is currently working as a Jameson brand ambassador in Mumbai, India.

"After doing some research about the programme, I discovered it was one of the top ranked graduate programmes in Ireland and I decided to apply," said the Westmeath man.

"My favourite thing about the programme is the level of responsibility you are given. You can really make the role your own, focusing on areas where you can genuinely add value to the company, while learning new skills."

The Jameson International Graduate Programme is now in its 30th year, and Irish Distillers said it "empowers graduates from all backgrounds to shape their future by providing them with the tools and opportunity to realise their personal and professional goals, as part of a global community."

Applicants should be "creative, innovative, self-starters with an entrepreneurial mindset," the company said.

Over 400 graduates have participated in the Jameson International Graduate Programme since it was established in 1991.

The 2022/23 intake of graduates will have the opportunity to work with Jameson, one of the world's top whiskey brands.

The Jameson International Graduate Programme accepts applicants from all disciplines, so a marketing or business background is not essential.

Irish Distillers said the programme's four-week induction programme "covers all bases, ensuring that graduates are equipped with the knowledge, skills and tools they need to hit the ground running post-induction."

It added that the programme, "provides a competitive benefits package" and "mentorship via a global support network."
