Changes for Local Link bus services on bank holiday weekend

A number of rural services arriving into Athlone will change due to the bank holidays on March 17 and 18.

Heading into Athlone on Wednesday 16th, instead; is the WR06 from Glasson, the WR08 from Ballymore, the WR09 from Doon Cross, the WR10 from MountTemple, the WR21 from Kilktoom and the WR24 from Drum. The WR11 from Castledaly, the WR12 Ballymore via Horseleap and the WR22 Curraghboy will travel to Athlone on Saturday 19 and the WR15 which serves the Ballymahon Hinterland will be operating on Monday 21.

Other services that have been changed include the WR07 Ballymore to Moate which will be operating Wednesday 16 instead and the WR03 Tang to Ballymahon which is operating on Saturday 19.

Manager, Damien O'Neill says "TFI Local Link Longford Westmeath Roscommon would like to wish all their passengers a Happy St Patrick’s Day and we are at the end of a phone if anyone would like to check a service, if they usually travel on a Thursday or Friday."
