Athlone performance of new Irish musical postponed

An Athlone performance of the new Irish musical Most Peculiar Dreams, which was due to take place tomorrow (Thursday) has been postponed.

The show was scheduled to be performed in the Dean Crowe Theatre, but this afternoon the venue tweeted that "due to circumstances beyond our control" it would not be going ahead.

The theatre said ticket holders had been contacted directly.

"We are working with the producer to reschedule and we will announce new dates in due course," the Dean Crowe's management added.

Written and composed by Fergus Foran, Most Peculiar Dreams had its premiere in Ratoath, county Meath, last month.
