Learn how to identify butterflies at South Roscommon workshop
A butterfly monitoring workshop will take place on Saturday, May 7 in Taughmaconnell Community Centre.
Join this workshop to learn how to identify Ireland's butterflies and how to monitor them through the National Biodiversity Data Centre.
Butterflies are an ideal insect group to monitor as there is a small number of species, who have strong associations with food plants and vegetation types; and respond quickly to changes in weather.
