Corrib Oil Spar officially opens

It was a wonderful afternoon at the Corrib Oil Spar on the Ballymahon Road, Athlone, recently when the store celebrated its official opening.

The ceremony was attended by Corrib Oil management and staff including Tommy Kelly, a well-known driver with over 40 years’ service.

The ribbon cutting was performed by store manager Gavin Butler and his team along with Tommy and members of the existing oil distribution team.

Music and entertainment was provided by Corvenieos Entertainment and some lucky people got to Spin the Wheel for great prizes such as Corrib Oil gift cards, hotel vouchers, a Smart TV and more.

Children also enjoyed treats, face painting and a balloon artist.

Some 20 people are currently employed at the store which has become a firm favourite with locals and passing trade alike.

Customers have an exciting range of fresh food to choose from at the award-winning Corrib Deli which serves breakfast, lunch and dinners all prepared instore.

There are delicious treats from Corrib bakery, Insomnia takeaway teas and coffee and a SPAR grocery convenience store.

The store boasts an attractive new-look fitout in the modern award-winning SPAR store design.
