Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone launches The Brasserie

Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone, part of the iNua Collection, celebrated the opening of its brand new dining experience, The Brasserie, with a stylish launch evening at the restaurant on Wednesday last.

The Brasserie showcases the very best of local produce with a French twist, with classic dishes like French onion soup, steak au poivre and boeuf bourguignon gracing the menu.

The Brasserie is the perfect setting to catch up with friends, gather the whole family or enjoy a date night.

The launch event included live music and entertainment from Bernard and Patrice Coyle, as well as interactive cocktail demonstrations hosted by Mixologist Michael Cannon for guests to join in on the evening. Attendees enjoyed classic French cocktails and wine and samples of the new menu, including oak smoked salmon, honey whipped Ardsallagh Goats Cheese, hake and salmon fish cakes, The Brasserie Caesar, fish and chips with rosemary and Achill Sea Salt plus delicious sweet treats, which were a hit with guests on the night.

Regional General Manager Fergus O’Donovan introduced The Brasserie to attendees who included corporate guests, regular guests to the hotel, local businesses as well as notable guest Westmeath County Council cathaoirleach Cllr Frankie Keena.
