Jack and Jill Foundation to open new Athlone shop

The Jack and Jill Children's Foundation is set to open a new charity boutique in Athlone this Friday, May 27 at 10am.

The new outlet will be based at Unit 1 Townhouse Centre in St Mary's Square.

Bargain-hunters are encouraged to drop in soon to check out the boutique’s fantastic selection of pre-loved clothes, accessories, toys, books, and household items that have been kindly donated to Jack & Jill.

All items sold will raise funds for the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation to provide specialist home nursing care, respite support and end-of-life care for very sick children up to the age of six.

The foundation completely relies on the generosity of the public to continue the success of our boutiques by donating and supporting our shops.

Jack & Jill’s mission is to empower parents to care for their child at home, because there is no care like home care for a Jack & Jill child.

Set up by parents for parents nearly 25 years ago, Jack & Jill provides in-home nursing care and respite for children up to the age of six with severe to profound neurodevelopmental delay, including children with brain injury, genetic diagnosis, cerebral palsy and undiagnosed conditions.

Another key part of Jack & Jill’s service is end-of-life care for children under the age of six, regardless of the diagnosis.
