Willow Park FC set to host Family Fun Day this Sunday

To mark the 50th anniversary of the foundation of Willow Park, the club is hosting a Family Fun Day on Sunday, July 31. Everyone is invited to the event at DPD Park (Willow Park FC grounds) on Sunday, from 12.30 to 3.30pm.

There will be bouncing castles, face painting, kids football match and games on the day, along with barbecue and treats! Entry is FREE and children who are not playing with the club are welcome.

At 12.30pm, two teams of Willow legends contest the Ray Doyle Memorial match. The legends teams will be managed by Tony King and Davy McGuinness.

This will be followed by the club's U15 side, which recently finished third overall in its age group in the Foyle Cup, taking on Shamrock Rovers from the U15 League of Ireland.

This game, the Noreen Kelly Memorial, will kick off at 2pm. A presentation night will take place in The Tack Room on Sunday where the player of each match will be announced. The club's 50/50 weekly draw will also take place and there will be live music on the night.
