New season about to begin at Athlone Boxing Club

Athlone Boxing Club will be returning for the new 2022/2023 season this coming Tuesday, September 6.

The club, which trains in the basement of St Peter and Paul's Church, is accepting new members while also having boxers who will be aiming to compete in the Leinster and All Ireland championships.

Junior boxers, aged 6-12 years, train on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6.30pm to 7.45pm, while senior boxers will be using the gym between 7.45 and 9pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

All classes are €5, and the yearly membership is €50. For more details, see the Athlone Boxing Club Facebook page.
