Athlone’s top model Tatyana fronts national campaign

A Ukrainian refugee who has already graced the pages of Vogue, Marie Claire Harper's Bazaar, to name just a few, and was the winner of her home country's Next Top Model reality TV series in 2020, is now calling Athlone home.

Tatyana Bryk came into the national spotlight recently as the star of a new campaign for the popular Knight & Day designer costume jewellery, and her story was featured in the Irish Times.

The popular Irish brand, which is available in Carraig Donn in Golden Iisland Shopping Centre, Athlone, said it was delighted to work with Tatyana on their autumn/winter photo campaign that features crystals, colour and freshwater pearls.

Born in the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv on the Black Sea, Tatyana began modelling at the age of 14, and quickly rose to be one of her home country's top models. She later branched out and became a model of international standing, working with big names like Japanese design Yohji Yamamoto, and top brands like Pepe Jeans and Charlotte Tilbury among many others.

Tatyana, who also works in the office of Bluebird Care since she arrived in Athlone from her war-torn home, has modelled in cities like Paris, Singapore, London and Tel Aviv, and appeared in fashion's top magazines like Vogue, L'Officiel, Nylon Singapore, Marie Claire and Harper's Bazaar.

Fiona Fagan, often dubbed the stylist of the stars in Ireland because of her work on RTE’s Dancing with the Stars, along with years of working with TV personalities in London, styled the latest shoot for Knight & Day jewellery range. The looks sported by Tatyana are edgy but with an every woman appeal meaning they can be easily recreated with chic staples elevated by the stunning jewellery.

Represented by modelling agencies all over the world, Tatyana is looked after in the country by Dublin-based Morgan the Agency, fronted by Rebecca Morgan.
