Three locals appointed as directors at RBK accountancy firm

Three locals are among a group of four people recently appointed by the RBK chartered accountancy firm to directorship roles in audit, tax and payroll.

The new directors include Charlene McCrossan, audit director, from Athlone; Rose Bracken, payroll director, from Moore, Ballinasloe; and Andrew Duignan, audit director, who is an Athlone resident originally from Strokestown, Roscommon.

The fourth new director appointed to the local firm is Richard McAufield, tax director, from Dublin.

RBK Chartered Accountants operates from offices in Athlone, Roscommon and Dublin, and employs more than 230 staff.

The company said the demand for high quality audit, tax and payroll services had continued to grow over the past 12 months and this had resulted in strong growth across its three offices.

It added that the appointment of the four new directors would allow RBK to broaden its service offering to help meet a diverse range of clients’ needs.

Commenting on the new appointments, Joe Cleary, managing partner of RBK, said, "I am very pleased to welcome these four directors to RBK's senior leadership team.

"These appointments further support the ambitious growth plans of our firm and are aligned to our strategic objectives.

"With 230 dedicated financial advisory practitioners, these appointments underline RBK's commitment to enhance the breadth and depth of expertise we offer our clients."
