Buccaneers RFC to host first fashion show since lockdown

Buccaneers Rugby Football Club will host a fashion show in association with Carraig Donn at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone, on Wednesday, October 12th.

Beginning at 7.30pm, there will be a prosecco reception on arrival. The show will be hosted by Mandy Maher of Catwalk Model Agency and the prize for the most stylish person is sponsored by Athlone Fascinators.

Full time stylist Kelly McDonnell, originally from Tipperary, but now based in Athlone will be judge the best dressed competition on the night.

Kelly, ex professional Irish dancer of 20 years performing all over the world as lead dancer for many well known productions including working with the main man himself Michael Flatley on his hit show 'Lord Of The Dance' and 'Celtic Tiger' is a former model and Miss Ireland contestant.

All the latest autumn styles and fashions will be exhibited by the following shops - Athlone Towncentre, Boutique Clodagh, Burgess of Athlone, Dubarry of Ireland, Eddie Murphy Menswear, Gerards, ICON Boutique, Nell’s Closet, Olivia Danielle, Sephoria Boutique and The Stables, Birr.

Croughan’s Supervalu and Home Suite Home are also supporting the event which is the first fashion show in Athlone since lockdown. So a super night out for the ladies is surely in the offing!
