Aldi announces 11-job recruitment drive in Westmeath

Aldi Ireland has announced a recruitment drive to fill eleven vacancies across its stores in Westmeath

The supermarket chain has been operating in Athlone since 2004, and it also has two stores in Mullingar and one in Kinnegad.

It said its 11 vacancies in the county had arisen following increased customer demand and in preparation for the busy Christmas period.

The store assistant roles that are to be filled in Westmeath include ten permanent positions and one fixed-term contract position.

Nationally, Aldi is hoping to fill 450 vacancies across its 153-store network in Ireland.
