Robert Mizzell to perform in Moate

Country music star Robert Mizzell will take to the stage in Moate this weekend.

The American singer will perform a collection of his tracks in The Well, Moate this Saturday.

Robert has released 12 solo studio albums and two full length DVD’s to date. Robert was also voted 'Ireland’s Favourite Country Music Singer' in a poll conducted by RSVP Magazine.

The country singer recently teased the release of his new album saying: "We have been working hard on my brand new album. The album is entitled “Make a Little” and it will be available in all good record shops soon."

Robert was born in Louisiana, the Bayou State and grew up on the shores of Lake Bistineau near Shreveport. The music star was in the US army for a number of years but following his military service he moved to Ireland with dreams of a career in country music.
