John Paul II award presentations for Coláiste Chiaráin students

Congratulations to Roisin Dunning, Leah Dunne, Jerry Chen and Aimee Plunkett who received the John Paul II Award 2022.

The Pope John Paul II Award is a faith achievement award for young people between the age of 16 and 18. Bishop Kevin Doran (School Patron & Bishop of Elphin) presented the students with their award during the annual 1st Year Christmas Mass on Monday, December 5.

The 1st Year Choir performed Christmas hymns during the annual 1st Year Mass at Coláiste Chiaráin, Athlone on Monday under the guidance of pianist and Music Teacher, Ms. Irene Halligan. Chief Celebrant, Bishop of Elphin & School Patron, Kevin Doran was joined by Deacon Tony Larkin for this very special occasion in the school calendar.

A special word of thanks is extended to all the members of the RE Department and the other members of staff at Coláiste Chiaráin who assisted with the organisation of the service.
