Heartbreaking memorial video as Ashling Murphy fund launched

The Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund, set up by the Murphy family and the Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund executive committee, was officially launched on Friday January 6 (Nollaig na mBan).

With the first anniversary of Ashling’s tragic passing at hand, the family and committee felt it was fitting to launch the memorial fund. The Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund is on Facebook and Instagram platforms, while the official fundraising page can be visited and supported here

As part of the fundraising campaign, a special video showcasing Ashling's life was complied and can be seen on the Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund page and below.

Donations and proceeds from fundraisers will be utilised to achieve the objectives of the memorial fund. These objectives have been compiled by the Murphy family along with committee members and are deemed close to Ashling’s heart and represent the many interests she had in her 23 years.

The Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund will always remember Ashling for who she was by fulfilling her legacy through the memorial fund objectives outlined below.

The main objective for which the Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund is established, is for the further enhancement, development and the advancements of the traditional Irish arts, culture and heritage for young people.

Those who would like to fundraise in memory of Ashling Murphy are asked to seek permission to use the official Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund name and logo and to obtain an approval number.
