Athlone Gardai seeking owner of kids' BMX bike found on roadside

Gardai in Athlone are looking to reunite a children's BMX bike with its owner.

This 'Hybrid Theory BMX' was found last week at Junction 9 of the N6 Athlone relief road in Garrycastle.

Sergeant Dermot Monaghan said the bike was in excellent condition and appeared to have been dumped by the side of the road along with other items.

Gardai are asking anyone who might know the owner of the bike to contact Athlone Garda Station on 09064 98550, or to ring its property store on 09064 21710.
