Fixtures confirmed for FAI Women's Cup quarter-finals

Athlone Town's clash against Peamount United in the quarter-finals of the Sports Direct Women's FAI Cup will be played on Saturday, September 16.

Ciarán Kilduff's charges have been handed home advantage for the quarter-final, with kick-off in Athlone at 7pm.

Athlone booked their place in the quarter-finals with a penalty shoot-out win over Galway United last weekend - see more here.

Holders Shelbourne - who defeated Athlone in last year's decider - will kick off the quarter-final action with a clash against DLR Waves at Tolka Park on September 16 (kick-off 2pm), followed by Bohemians hosting Sligo Rovers in Dalymount Park at 3pm.

The last quarter-final will take place on Sunday, September 17, when Cork City host Shamrock Rovers in Turner's Cross (2pm).

All games will be settled on the day, with extra-time and/or a penalty shoot-out to be played if required.

This year's Women's FAI Cup final will played on November 19 in Tallaght Stadium.
