Rainfall warning for Westmeath and Roscommon

Westmeath and Roscommon are among eight counties subject to a yellow rainfall warning from early tomorrow, Monday.

Met Éireann issued the warning today, cautioning about possible localised flooding, and difficult travel conditions.

The affected regions are Westmeath, Roscommon, Offaly, Longford, Carlow, Laois, Kildare and Wicklow.

The warning takes effect at 4am on Monday and continues until 4am on Tuesday. An orange rainfall warning is in place for the same time period for Kilkenny, Wexford and Waterford.
