Ballinasloe to host upcoming national rally and agriculture conference

Macra’s upcoming National Rally and Agriculture Conference will take place at the Shearwater Hotel in Ballinasloe this Saturday at 1.45pm.

Comer Group Hotels and AGRISHIELD have been announced as sponsors for the rally and conference. This year’s conference theme is ‘Feeding our Future.'

The conference is sure to be an interesting one with the lineup of speakers. Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue is the conference’s key note speaker. The conference panellists include: Renewables Editor at the Irish Farmers Journal, Stephen Robb, Senior Inspector responsible for the Department and Biodiversity Division with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Ted Massey, Head of the Unfair Trading Practices Enforcement Authority, Niamh Lenehan, Executive Head Chef at The Lodge at Ashford Castle, Jonathan Keane and Alan Giligan from Giligan’s Farm.
